How do we get started?

What is ABA therapy?
Applied behavior analysis (ABA) uses an understanding of learning and behavior to develop meaningful skills. The right goals and approach depend on the individual. Ask a qualified provider how their plan supports your child’s communication, autonomy, comfort, and everyday life.
Do we need a diagnosis or a referral?
Requirements vary by service, provider, location, and payer. Contact Nine Hearts to discuss the specific requirements for your situation before arranging an assessment or sending documents.
What ages and locations do you support?
Contact us to confirm the ages, locations, and service formats currently available. We can discuss the options appropriate to your family’s location and needs.
Do you accept our insurance?
Insurance participation, authorization requirements, benefits, and any family responsibility must be checked individually. Contact us to ask about your plan. Coverage or Medicaid acceptance is not guaranteed by this website.
How much do services cost?
Fees depend on the service and arrangements available to your family. Ask for the applicable rates, payment options, and any written estimate before agreeing to services. No prices or coverage commitments are made on this website.
Can parents and caregivers be involved?
Your knowledge of your child matters. Discuss how your goals, routines, language, and preferences can be included, along with what parent or caregiver guidance may be available.
Do you provide speech or occupational therapy?
Speech-language therapy and occupational therapy are distinct professional services. Please ask Nine Hearts about current options and coordination with appropriately qualified providers. This website does not claim that these services are available in every location.
How soon can services begin?
Timing depends on availability, fit, any assessment needs, and required approvals. Please contact us for current information. We cannot confirm a start date or reserve an appointment through this website.
What should I include in the contact form?
Your own name, email address, an optional phone number, and the general type of enquiry are enough. Please leave out your child’s name, diagnosis, medical history, insurance member numbers, and other sensitive information.
